Sickies

Jude is sick again - still suffering from the cough/cold he had a week or so ago.

He's hacking away like buggery, the poor little fella. I've got to find that bloody prescription the doctors wrote out for him.

Outside Baby

Jude has become a little man who wants to go outside all the time.

First, it was walks down to the letterbox on Saturday and Sunday mornings to get the papers. We now have that down pat, and about halfway down the driveway, he starts pointing at the papers (if he can see them!)

Now, he wants to go outside everytime I go out for a ciggie. That's ok, but i'm normally only going out for about 5-10 minutes at a time (depending on how cold it is, or if there is something funny on the radio out in the garage). But he wants to stay outside for longer than that.

And he wants to eat dirt. A lot of it. We had to give him another shower today, he did such a good job of getting dirty. He's even taken to going out there without shoes on - we did have a little ritual of putting on his slippers, which he wears around the house, and for going to nanny's - but now it's straight out the door ASAP, no shoes.

If you try to bring him in before he's ready, trouble! Pictures will follow, I spent a couple of hours outside with him on Saturday, and took a bunch of photos - it was a really nice day, we had a bunch of rain, and then it broke, and we had beautiful sun in the arvo.

Jack is crying now, so I'd better feed him.

Sickies

Little Jude has a bad cold. He's got the coughs, and runny nose. He managed to get himself stuck in his cot too - he was trying to back himself off the bed (like he does to get off the couch), but he jammed his little thighs between the bars, and started complaining. Rach had to go in and rescue him from his predicament.

The dimetapp and eucalyptus ventilator are working overtime. And to top it off Rach and I are getting it too. Bugger.

Sickies

Jude has been sick for the past 3-4 days. We first noticed when he wouldnt sleep last thursday night. That wasn't good.

It's continued to be a nightly occurrence, waking up coughing and crying. Not so bad on the weekends though. He had a bad night last night though, I gave him some baby balsam at 11pm, with some dimetap (which is great for runny noses and coughs), but he still woke up (aparently!?). I got up, and the couch was configured for sleeping, so I figure that Rach got him up some time during the night.

He had a couple of whingy days, but he had a ball on Saturday night at Amol and Poonam's place. Running around like a crazy, and uncle Amol revving him up.

Jude...

Poor little guy. He had a big crash last night. He managed to whack his teeth on his little train when he fell over, and he was very very upset. There were big silent cries.

We took him to a play place, and he had a fantastic time. He ran around like a crazy fro for about 1.5 hours, and was smiling the whole time. Unfortunately he was up early that morning (6:30), so we left there around 11:30. A good thing too, because the little guy was getting very tired. He fell asleep in the car on the way home, and had a good 1.5 hours sleep after we got home too.
